President Ro Murphy

Hello and welcome to the website of The Rotary Club of Birkenhead in Wirral, Liverpool City Region.

We are part of Rotary International, which is the world's largest service organisation for business and professional people.

Our Club has 60 members who have joined together to make a difference to our local communities, support national and international appeals and to enjoy ourselves while doing so!

Birkenhead Rotary is this year celebrating its 80th anniversary, having being formed in Birkenhead Town Hall in 1929.

Our members come from all walks of life, a variety of professions and, we are a dual gender club having welcomed our first lady members a number of years ago.

We are fortunate to meet at Prenton Golf Club for lunch each Wednesday at 12.30pm with the kind permission of the Captain and Members of that Club.  When there is a five week month we meet in the evening and occasionally change our lunchtime meetings to an evening one.

A warm welcome awaits any visiting Rotarians, please ring our Hon. Secretary Derek Ray on 0151 652 8170 or email him on secretary@birkenheadrotary.org  if you would like to attend a meeting.
